French Toast


When in the mood for a sweet fulfilling breakfast, french toasts are a healthy option. The amount of sugar and oil in this recipe are set keeping into consideration the fitness requirements. 

Serving: 3 toasts

Ingredients

  • Bran bread slices - 3
  • Egg -1
  • Powdered sugar - 3 teaspoons
  • Milk - 6 tablespoons 
  • Oil - 2 tablespoon for each slice

Procedure

  • Pour milk in a plate.
  • Add sugar and mix. If possible leave mixture for a while so sugar gets dissolved.
  • Add egg, scramble and thoroughly mix the mixture.


  • Soak each side of bread in the mixture and spread it on a pan with preheated oil. The oil should be spread so that the entire portion of the slice has some oil under it.
  • Do not move the slice till it been left on the pan for a while. This would not leave any traces behind. 


  • Change its side and let it cook till slightly brown.
