Pulao is an Asian meal where rice is cooked in the soup of chicken, mutton or beef. This healthy recipe keeps into consideration the fitness requirements. Although this recipe uses chicken, the remaining ingredients and instructions remain the same when using minced meat or stok.

Ingredients
- Onion 1
- Tomatoes 2
- Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
- Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
- Peas 1/2 cup
- Chicken 1/3
- Cloves 2
- Cinnamon 1 inch
- Black pepper whole 2
- Green chillies 4
- Salt 2 tablespoon
- Red chillies 1 tablespoon
- Rice 1.5 cup
- Oil 4 tablespoon
Method
- Wash the rice and soak them in water for 15 minutes. Drain the water.
- Heat the oil and fry the onions till light brown.
- Add cumin seeds, pepper, cloves and Cinnamon and fry for a minute.
- Add garlic paste and fry for a minute.
- Add the tomatoes, green chillies, salt and red chillies.
- Add the chicken and fry for 3 minutes.
- Add 3 cups of water and let the chicken cook till tender.
- Add the peas and rice and let it cook.
- Serve with chatni or raita.
