This low calorie instant dessert is the perfect recipe to go with tea or hot milk. Taste is heightened when served with some milk cream.
Cooking Time: 10 minutes approx.
Ingredients
- Vermicelli - 1 cup
- White Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Water - 1.5 - 2 cup
- Oil - 3 tablespoon
- Almonds (optional) - 1 tablespoon (chopped)
- Green cardamom (optional) - 2 - 3
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan for almost a minute.2. Add vermicelli and cook at high heat for about 2 to 4 minutes.
3. Add sugar and dry fruits and cook for a minute.
4. Add water and cook at high flame for 2 - 5 minutes.
5. Once the water becomes somewhat absorbed lower the heat to medium and cook till completely done.
6. Serve hot.
